Julian Newman
Julian is the Lead Pastor and Creative Architect of a growing community of believers at Foothill Community Church located in the greater Sacramento region. He previously served as a college pastor in Grand Rapids, MI. He and his wife have three daughters. In his words, “By living in a ‘all female’ environment, I have learned to do what I am told, be quick in the bathroom, and that I don’t have the fashion sensibility and awareness that I thought I did. But it’s okay: I have 4 women to help me.” He blogs at DiaryOfADreamer.com.
Earl Creps
With two earned doctorates
and proven ministry fruitfulness, Earl has a unique combination of academic pedigree and practical savvy. So he and his wife are planting a church where those two streams come together: Berkeley, CA. Earl has a heart to help young leaders grow and wherever he ministers always finds himself surrounded by a crowd of twentysomethings. He blogs at earlcreps.com.
Worship
Worship this year will be led by the CSU Stanislaus / UC Merced Chi Alpha worship team. They're fiercely Spirit-led and yearn to lead college students into a dynamic encounter with the living God.

This year we’ll be meeting in a new location - Alliance Redwoods Bible Camp (Occidental, CA). This phenomenal campground will blow you away!

And yes, you seasoned veterans of our retreat read correctly - we’ve been able to include meals this year. No more living off of cereal and trying to cook noodles with your coffee pot!
